Logging into the extension
- Click the extension
- Log in using your email, password, and organization key. If you do not have the extension installed in your browser already click here

- Once inside be sure to check the application behavior settings by clicking the gear in the bottom right. then click "application behavior"

- Scroll down to timeout, by default this is set to "1 Day" meaning every day the extension will sign you out for security reasons. As long as you're the only one with access to your PC, we recommend setting this to "30 days" so you have access to your passwords as often as possible.

Logging in with Ocular
- Once ocular is set up, you can easily sign in to a website by simply clicking the ocular icon in the username or password field rather than having to type them in yourself.

- Then you should see a list of your password(s) for the website you are logging in to. Simply click the account you would log in with and then click "login"

Adding a New Password
- First, go to the website associated with the account you want to add. Then click the Passportal plugin icon at the upper right corner of chrome.

- You can add your password by opening the extension and clicking the plus sign next to the search bar.

- Enter the username and password, and add the name of the website under the description (the description will help you find the account in search later)
Creating a new account & Generating Passwords
- When creating a new account on any website, fill out the sign-up form up to the password field.

- Next Click the ocular extension.

- Notice the password field has icons on both sides.
- Clicking the icon to the left will generate a password for you.
- Clicking the icon on the right will allow you to change the parameters used to generate a random password
You can choose the length, as well as the characters that are allowed in the password. This can be important because a certain website will not allow specific characters in their passwords or will have a minimum or maximum length. - Then click the icon on the left to generate a password.

- Then copy the generated password
- Click Save to add the password
- Then go back to the sign-up form to paste the generated password to set up the account.
Editing Passwords
- Use the search bar to find the password you would like to change in the company vault.
- Hover your mouse over the password to see more options. Click the three vertical dots to option the options menu

- Click Edit password.

- To be able to change the password you must click the eye icon in the password field to show your password, then you can edit it

Disabling Passwords
Note: You cannot delete passwords from Ocular. The passwords are kept for historical data.
- Search for the password you would like to delete and hover your mouse over it to see all your options.
- Click the three vertical dots under the 'Actions' column, then click disable password.

- Then click Yes to confirm.

Working Around an Incompatible Website
- Click the Ocular plugin icon at the upper right corner of chrome

- Ocular should recognize the site you are on and display any saved passwords under 'Current website.' When you hover over your a password you have the option to easily copy the username and password to the proper fields

- Now you can paste the password into the password field without revealing it.
